Tattoo and Piercing Aftercare

We use the most up to date and sterile procedures in our Tattoos and Piercings. 

All needles are single use and fully Autoclave sterilized. 

All of our equipment is fully Autoclave sterilized.

We strongly recommend  "INK FIXX" as the ointment for Tattoo Aftercare, 

and "H 2 Ocean" products for Piercing Aftercare.

After many years of experience, these seem to be the finest products available.

We urge you NOT to use Bacitration, Neosporin, or any other ointments containing petroleum jelly for Tattoo Aftercare!

TATTOO AFTERCARE:

1) Remove the bandage after two hours. Gently wash the tattoo with Dial Anti-bacterial soap, and apply a thin layer of "INK FIXX".

2) Wash the tattoo gently twice per day with Dial Anti-bacterial soap, followed by applying a thin layer of "INK FIXX".

3) Avoid direct sunlight, chlorinated and salt water.

4) DO NOT pick or itch the new tattoo!

5) Follow these instructions for two weeks.

PIERCING AFTERCARE:

1) HANDS OFF! Touching your new piercing could lead to infection. Always wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap before touching your new piercing. DO NOT let anyone else touch or make contact with your new piercing.

2) Don't take it out. Piercings take months to heal fully.

3) Cleaning your piercing with "H2Ocean" Spray is the most effective way to heal your piercing. Using this product at least three times per day promotes circulation and removes any dried matter from your piercing. No other cleaning methods are needed or recommended.

4) Avoid hot tubs and public pools during the healing process.

5) Avoid tight fitting clothes, lotions, and scented body washes that may irritate your new piercing.

6) Do not change your jewelry for at least 4 weeks after getting pierced. Your body piercer will assist you at the time of changing if needed. 

ORAL PIERCING AFTERCARE:

In addition to the above steps: After eating, drinking and/or smoking you should rinse your mouth with "H2Ocean" mouthwash. Avoid contact with anyone else's body fluids. Avoid alcoholic beverages for one week. Ice chips held in the mouth and Motrin will reduce swelling and discomfort. We recommend that you rinse twice daily with "H2Ocean" mouthwash, or any other alcohol-free mouthwash. Please consult your piercer for initial jewelry change.
